First Resident Evil 6 Details Revealed

Capcom’s lifted the curtain off a bevy of details for their recently announced Resident Evil 6. It said the game will be taking place in 2013 and will enable players to move while shooting.
It also revealed that part of the game will be taking place in China and Chris Redfield will be based in a fictional town called Lanshiang in the country. Capcom also revealed that the game will feature a third yet-to-be-named protagonist. It’s said that he’s “currently engaged in a bloody conflict in Eastern Europe , and rather than think about the consequences and implications, he’s thinking “how money he can make from it.”
It also detailed some of the enemies in the game. Enemies in general are going to be “different” in the game from those encountered in past games. Zombies will run towards you, and even shoot at you.
J’avo is one of the enemies you’ll encounter in the game. The monster shows some human abilities like understanding human speech, but are otherwise “incredibly agressive”. When it takes damage, the J’avo will be able to recover, but if said damage is major, it’ll be able to mutate that part into “a number of varied forms,” meaning players will have to be on their toes to defeat it.
Apart from being able to move while shooting, thanks to the revamped combat-system, you’ll be able to slide, roll, and take cover behind objects.
Resident Evil 6 launches on November 20 worldwide for PS3 and 360. A PC version is also in development but will not release simultaneously.
